The VFW podcast was launched in October 2020 as a way for the VFW to communicate with military families, veterans, and current service members. The goal of this veterans’ podcast is to share insightful conversations that offer unique perspectives on topics such as legislation, education, financial assistance, national veterans’ services, and more.
New episodes are now available twice a month, released on the first and third Wednesday. According to the host of the VFW podcast, VFW Director of Communications, Terrence Hayes, “The VFW is in the midst of a paradigm shift.” The VFW views the podcast as a way to share the transformation with those both inside and outside of the organization.
Guests of the VFW Podcast include congressional leadership, Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs officials, VFW leaders, as well as everyday Veterans.
Recent episodes have covered topics such as housing and wellbeing initiatives, working together for Veteran welfare, and celebrating minority Veterans. All episodes of the VFW podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or anywhere else you listen to podcasts.
