Attention all Veterans: The fourth annual National Veterans Small Business Engagement (NVSBE) is now open for registration.

The NVSBE will be held on December 9-11, 2014, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. With 3,000 attendees expected, as well as more than 400 exhibitors and 25 government agencies, the NVSBE is a must-attend event for Veteran-owned small businesses.

The theme of this year’s NVSBE is “ACCESS” which stands for Advocate, Create, Commit, Expand, Strengthen, Sustain. ACCESS will present Veteran-owned Small Businesses and Veteran entrepreneurs with unique access to hundreds of financiers, advisers, contract and franchising opportunities, and procurement decision makers representing dozens of government agencies and large corporations.

The activities for the three day event are designed to aid in the success of Veteran business ventures. The Agenda for each day includes breakout learning sessions, symposiums, luncheons and receptions. The learning sessions consist of dozens of topics that attendees can register for, according to their needs. Topics include creating a small business, business expansion, financing your venture, government contracts, Veterans assistance, procurements, sustaining a small business, leadership, service-disabled Veteran-owned business resources and more. The last day of the event includes one-on-one follow-up meetings with procurement decision makers and program professionals.

This year’s NVSBE will also include a presentation by VA secretary Robert McDonald, allowing him to share his vision for the department with attendees at the luncheon, scheduled for Thursday, December 11^th. There will also be meet and greet opportunities with corporate executives and networking sessions.
