Imminent Danger/Hostile Fire Pay | What is Imminent Danger/Hostile Fire Pay? There is also Imminent Danger or Hostile Fire Pay is paid when service members serve within an officially declared “imminent danger” area and this pay does not require the service member to be committed to combat but to be on official duty in this type of area. They receive an additional $225 month.
