Military Connection – Dislocation Pay

Dislocation Pay

What is Dislocation Pay?

The Dislocation Pay allowance is designed to cover some of the extra expenses when government paid moves and travel allowances fall short of the actual cost of permanent change-of-station moves. The 2006 Dislocation Pay allowance varies from $738.72 to $3,703.37, based on rank and dependent status. Dislocation pay is not subject to taxes.
