Veteran Service Officer Ted Puntillo has kindly consented to provide monthly articles to update our users on the services offered to veterans and their families. Puntillo, the new director of the Solano County Veteran Services Office, previously served as a deputy secretary for the California Department of Veteran Affairs and the county veteran service officer in Yolo County, CA. He began working with veterans after retiring from a 37-year career with the U.S. Post Office, culminating as the Postmaster for the City of Davis. Puntillo also served as City Councilmember in Davis from 2002 to 2006, where he formed the Yolo County Veterans Caucus to address veteran issues. |
