You’ve served your country proudly and bravely. Now your country wants to help you start a new career. The Post 9/11 GI Bill entitlements include obtaining a college degree, attending a vocational school for veterans, veteran certification-training program at a non-college-degree institution. They also include veteran on-the-job training and veteran apprenticeship training. We encourage you to consider vocational schools for veterans including veteran vocational distance education enabling you to earn veteran vocational training certificates.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill offers alternatives for veterans and those currently in the National Guard or Reserves. Veteran vocational on-the-job programs or veteran apprenticeship programs are available with your education benefits. The Department of Veterans Affairs provides cash benefits in addition to your regular salary while you are training. Veteran-on-the job training programs assist veterans in learning a trade or skill instead of only attending classes. Many outstanding companies have committed to veteran apprenticeship programs.
