Please read the following terms carefully. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you may not access, view, obtain goods or services from, or otherwise use the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC.
Email Communications: If you create an account and provide your email address, we will send you administrative and promotional emails. If you wish to opt out of promotional emails, you may do so by following the “unsubscribe” instructions in the email, or by editing your account settings as described below.

Use of Material and Copyrights
The content, organization, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion, and other matters related to the Military Connection.com web site are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary (including but not limited to intellectual property) rights as a collective work and/or compilation, pursuant to international conventions and U.S. and other copyright laws. The names Military Connection and MilitaryConnection.com are the property of BL, LLC. Other product and company names mentioned herein may be the trademarks of their respective owners. The contents, and every part thereof, of the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC are only for your personal, non-commercial use. You do not acquire ownership rights to any content, document, or other materials viewed through our site. The posting of information or materials on the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC does not constitute a waiver of any right in such information and materials. USER AGREEMENT
This User Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Military Connection, a division of BL, LLC, with a principal place of business at 250 E. Easy Street, Suite 4 , Simi Valley California . Your rights and obligations under this Agreement and in using this site are not assignable. Your use and access of the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC constitutes your acceptance, without modification, of the terms, conditions and notices contained herein. In addition, when using particular MilitaryConnection.com services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines, rules, and policies applicable to such services that may be posted from time to time. All such guidelines, rules, and policies are hereby incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
You shall not upload, email, post or transmit to, or distribute or otherwise publish through the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC any material which: (i) disrupts the normal flow of dialogue and/or exchange on the Site, including posting or otherwise transmitting material that is not related to the subject at issue or otherwise restricts or inhibits any other user from using and enjoying the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC; (ii) is unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, offensive, harassing, hateful, embarrassing, pornographic, profane, sexually explicit, or indecent; (iii) constitutes or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, potentially give rise to civil liability (including claims of defamation and/or libel), or otherwise violate the local, state, or national laws of any country; (iv) violates, plagiarizes, or infringes the rights of third parties including, without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent, rights of privacy or publicity, trade secrets, or any other proprietary right; (v) contains a virus, worm, Trojan horse, or other harmful component; (vi) contains any information, software, or other material of a commercial nature; (vii) contains solicitations or advertisements of any kind; (viii) constitutes or contains false or misleading indication of origin or statement of fact; or (ix) contains chain letters or pyramid schemes.
You acknowledge that you are 13 years of age or older, and, if under the age of 18, are using this web site under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to visit or otherwise use our site. You acknowledge that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this Agreement and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify MilitaryConnection.com or its affiliates for all claims resulting from content you supply.
Release of Information
We reserve the right to release information to the proper authorities, as a result of a violation of our standards or unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed and/or if we deem it necessary and/or appropriate. MilitaryConnection.com. has the right, but not the obligation, to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content, in its sole discretion.You will be responsible for your own Communications and the consequences of posting or otherwise transmitting those Communications. MilitaryConnection.com does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any material posted or otherwise transmitted by MilitaryConnection.com does not screen, monitor or approve Communications from our web site users in advance. If we receive notification about a user regarding communications which allegedly do not conform to this Agreement, MilitaryConnection.com has the right, but not the obligation, to investigate the allegations and determine in good faith and at its sole discretion whether to remove or request the removal of the communication. We have no liability or responsibility to users for performance or nonperformance of such activities. MilitaryConnection.com reserves the right to expel users and prevent their further access to the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC for violating this Agreement or violating the law. We have the right, but not the obligation, to remove communications that are abusive, illegal, disrespectful, disruptive, or otherwise problematic.
Our Liability
MilitaryConnection.com makes no warranty, express or implied, with respect to the content, information, or services provided through, or in conjunction with, the MilitaryConnection.com web site. We make no guarantee of the accuracy, correctness or completeness of any information on the site, and shall not be responsible for: (i) any errors of omission arising from the use of such information; (ii) any failures, delays or interruptions in the delivery of any content or service contained within the MilitaryConnection.com web site, a division of BL, LLC; and (iii) any defamatory, libelous or unlawful material contained within the site, including user web pages, resumes, emails, profiles, opinions, advice, statements, memorandums or discussion board postings, or materials related to a users’ use of the site’s chat features. Gathering email addresses from MilitaryConnection.com through harvesting or automated means is prohibited. Posting or transmitting unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation to other users is prohibited. Inquiries regarding a commercial relationship with MilitaryConnection.com should be directed to info@localhost. By offering a number of third party products and services, including advertisements, on our site, MilitaryConnection.com makes no warranties or representations of any kind as to the content or suitability of the subject matter of any web site, product or service from any such third party business or individual. MilitaryConnection.com. expressly disclaims liability for direct, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the products, services, advertisements, actions, or web site content of these and any other third parties, and you waive any claims against MilitaryConnection.com for damages arising from such transactions or your reliance upon statements contained therein. You will not consider MilitaryConnection.com a party to such transactions, whether or not we may have received some form of revenue or other remuneration in connection with the transaction. Merchants are responsible for all aspects of order processing, fulfillment, billing, and customer service. You agree that use of such merchants is AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND BY US, EXPRESSED, IMPLIED, OR OTHERWISE INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF TITLE, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND/OR NONINFRINGEMENT. Under no circumstances is Military Connection, militaryconnection.com or BL, LLC liable for any damages arising from the transactions between you and merchants participating on the MilitaryConnection.com web site or for any information appearing on merchant sites or any other site linked from or to our site.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Militaryconection.com, Military Connection and BL, LLC, it’s officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of the material or your breach of the terms of this Agreement. The Company shall provide notice to you promptly of any such claim, suit, or proceeding and shall assist you, at your expense, in defending any such claim, suit or proceeding.
Advertising Policy
This Advertising Policy details the agreement between MilitaryConnection.com (“Publisher”) and any entities (“Advertiser”) wishing to advertise with MilitaryConnection.com.
Obligations:
MilitaryConnection.com has no obligation to run any ad from an advertiser unless the advertising copy and all of its components (including text, artwork, claims, photos, etc.) are complete and has first been reviewed and accepted by MilitaryConnection.com. Ads deemed objectionable at the sole discretion of MilitaryConnection.com, such as content of a sexual or fraudulent nature, will not be accepted. Advertising materials are the responsibility of the Employer or Advertiser, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Cancellations and Renewals:
All advertising contracts are due and payable in full upon signing of the contract. Exceptions to this policy are at the sole discretion of Military Connection. Unpaid past due invoices will forfeit any discounts extended on those contracts, and cancellation fees will apply to the entire regular full amount of the services per the Ratecard. There is no provision for early cancellation or non-payment of the contract/agreement. Any deviation from the original contract/agreement is also at the sole discretion of MilitaryConnection.com The start date is the date the ad is approved and uploaded to the web site and is “live’. An advertiser’s inability to produce advertising materials in a timely manner does not constitute a cancellation of the contract. There are no early cancellations. No refunds will be given after the advertising start date.
Ad sizes are approximate and may display differently on various monitors due to variations in browser rendering, monitor size, screen resolution and other factors controlled by the viewer. Pricing, promotions and policies are subject to change without notice. Cancellations by advertiser or its representative prior to the start date are not effective until confirmed by the MilitaryConnection.com.
Any advertisement that has been accepted and is later found to be objectionable or fraudulent will be removed by MilitaryConnection.com and no refunds will be granted. Additionally, advertisements from companies with unresolved complaints with the Better Business Bureau are also subject to removal without refund.
Once an agreement is executed, postponements, launch delays and non-payment will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Any other cancellations must be received in writing (via email, USPS or fax confirmation requested) and are also subject to a 25% cancellation fee. This covers administrative costs for the account as well as reserving dates. We WILL NOT automatically renew ads without your authorization received either by an email, fax, USPS or courier.
Liability:
MilitaryConnection.com assumes no liability for errors in advertisements submitted by the Advertiser and its representative(s) assume full liability for all content (text, claims, artwork, trademarks or other copyrighted material) in its authorized advertisements. Positioning of advertisements is at the discretion of MilitaryConnection.com unless the location is detailed in the advertising contract. If BL, LLC or Military Connection is merged, acquired, or sold, or in the event of a transfer of some or all of our assets (including by bankruptcy procedures), we may disclose or transfer any personal information and usage data in connection with such transaction. Military Connection may freely assign or transfer the terms of use and any contract related to the Military Connection without restriction, including advertisement and marketing contracts.
Sales Representatives:
Advertising Representatives representing MilitaryConnection.com are independent contractors and as such, may only sell advertising. They are not entitled to act or speak for MilitaryConnection.com.
Indemnification:
In consideration of publishing an advertisement, the advertiser, its representatives and agency, jointly and severally, will indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher, Publisher’s website, owners, officers, directors, stockholders, agents, employees and representatives (including independent representatives) from any and against all losses, damages, claims, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees and costs) resulting from the publication of the contents of the advertisement, including, by way of illustration and not limitation, claims or lawsuits for libel, violation of right to privacy, copyright infringement, defamation or unfair competition.
You shall defend or settle at your sole expense any claim or suit, including without limitation any proceeding, investigation or claim by a self-regulatory organization, state or federal securities agency or commission, (collectively, an “Action”) against MilitaryConnection.com and/or each of its affiliates, directors, officers, agents, employees or sub-licensees, (collectively, the “Indemnitee”) to the fullest extent permitted by law arising out of or in connection with (1) an assertion that the information, content or other materials or services provided or made available by you or the use thereof may infringe any copyright or trademark rights of any individual or entity, or are a misappropriation of any individual or entity’s trade secret, or contain any libelous, defamatory, disparaging, pornographic, or obscene materials; (2) any breach by you of your obligations under this Agreement; and (3) any content provided by you in a chat room, message board, e-mail, or home page (created or used by you) on the MilitaryConnection.com web site, or statements made by you in the site or through other media. You shall indemnify and hold harmless the Indemnitee from and against any and all damages, costs, liabilities and attorneys’ fees incurred in defending and/or resolving such Action.
Jurisdiction:
This Agreement shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Sole and exclusive jurisdiction for any action or proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be an appropriate state or federal court located in the county of Ventura, CA.
Notice:
Pricing, promotions and policies are subject to change without notice and are posted on this web site. By placing any and all advertising orders with MilitaryConnection.com, Advertiser agrees to the above Advertising Policy.
All unused advertising services contained within your advertising contract including, but not limited to: newsletter insertions, dedicated email blasts, banners, scroller thumbnails, display ads, landing/content pages, tweeting and partnerships facilitation to increase visibility, expire on the last day of your contract. MilitaryConnection.com makes every attempt to obtain your participation, including your approval to launch and/or deploy these services. Consideration to extend the expiration is at the sole discretion of MilitaryConnection.com.
