Military Being Honored By Popular Orlando Hotel

For over 30 years, Nickelodeon has proven time and time again to be one of the top brands in kid’s entertainment worldwide, and in 2005 they entered the resort business with the same “kids first” attitude that brought so much success in television and entertainment.  The result is the Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Orlando, Florida, an all suite resort where kids of all ages, including those of us that are kids at heart, can relax and have a great time in the sun and fun of central Florida.

The resort features two water parks with 13 slides and flumes, a 4D theater with shows tailored for both kids and adults, Studio Nick Live shows, all your favorite Nickelodeon characters, a teen lounge, an arcade and all the Slime and pies in the face you can handle!  (The Nick hotel team dumps 150,000 gallons of Slime and 10,000 whip cream pies on guests every year!)

Entertainment aside, one of the best features of this hotel for families are the suites.  From one bedroom suites up to the three bedroom kid suites, the hotel offers something for every family and every budget.  All suites come equipped with a kitchenette and all the standard amenities you would expect from a resort.  The real gem of this hotel, though, is the kid suites, where kids or teenagers get their own room and space designed specifically with them in mind, and mom and dad get some privacy.

For military families, November is a special month where the Nick Hotel is taking an entire month to say thank you to our troops and their families.  Festivities start November 6th with the Marine Corps Color Guard leading an opening ceremony and run through the end of the month.  During the month, the Nick Hotel has teamed with the Military Vehicle Preservation Association and the Central Florida WWII Museum, the Nick hotel to feature a military vehicle static display and a World War Two Living History display to honor those who have sacrificed to make our country what it is today.  Daily throughout the month, the Nick hotel will be honoring a military family, saying thank you for their service with a free character breakfast with SpongeBob Squarepants and Dora the Explorer, as well as a pie brigade every day that will allow military moms and dads to “pie” their unsuspecting kids in the face.  Don’t forget to stop by the Nicktoons Café, where you can write a postcard to a deployed soldier.  Other can’t miss events of the month include Hero Splash Bash parties at the pool and a Boat Regatta.  Check out the Nick Hotel’s website, www.nickhotel.com/military  for times and details of military appreciation month events.

Don’t miss these special offers and rates as the Nickelodeon Suites Resort offers a heartfelt thank you to our military and their families!
