Armed Forces Entertainment Concert Series Goes Virtual for the AFE 70th Anniversary Tour
Established 70 years ago, and run by the Department of Defense, the Armed Forces Entertainment branch has been determined to connect military bases around the world with entertainment in an effort to help our Service Men and Women have fun and relax. Their tours include music, comedy, theater, dance, sports and magic acts.
While AFE remains committed to providing active-duty service members, and their families, unforgettable entertainment while stationed overseas, COVID-19 has required that they make some changes to their 2021 plans. Since in-person shows are still limited, the Armed Forces Entertainment 70th Anniversary tour has gone virtual. AFE performers kicked off the 2021 season with Homegrown, an AFE concert series that Service Members can view online.
Artists will be performing from their homes for the virtual tour circuit and broadcast live by the AFE. Upcoming performers include:
- The X Ambassadors
- Illusionist Mike Super
- The Super Cr3w Dance Group
- NFL Wide Receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux
- Musician Angie Keilhauer
- Actor Bruce Campbell
- Guitarist Lzzy Hale
- Pop Artist Max
- Country Artist Chris Kroeze
- And more
