| D’Youville Ranks near the Top in Veteran Services BUFFALO – D’Youville College has been honored for its veterans program and service to vets by Military Times EDGE magazine. D’Youville is ranked fifth out of 101 schools in a listing that encompassed a survey of more than 4000 colleges and universities. The survey evaluated four categories using a five-star rating. D’Youville received 4.5 in Financial Assistance, 4 stars in Academic Flexibility, 3.5 stars in Campus Culture and 4.5 stars in Support Services. Military Times invited educational institutions to tell about their veterans programs, policies and resources and then evaluated their responses. “This was a welcome surprise and honor for the college and the office,” said Edward Draper of the D’Youville Veterans Affairs office. “”We serve all prior and current military service personnel without question or reservation and strive to be a leader in the Western New York veteran’s educational community. We are very proud of this honor.”
D’Youville started its Office of Veteran’s Affairs in March and today the college enrolls more than 150 veterans.
