| Better Education Rising for Military Kids Officials from the Department of Defense gathered with officials from the Department of Education to sign a decision dedicated to the two departments working together in order to support easier transitions and better education for military children. Many factors affect the learning process of military children but most are caused by the continuous uprooting due to military moving, resulting in emotional and mental disconnections from schoolwork and other children, military children obtaining varied levels of exceptional education and the inconsistency of teaching from one school to another. Upon signing the memorandum, the two departments designated the beginning of a partnership to ensure the best educational values for every military child. The departments will combine their efforts to develop and monitor programs for gathering data about military student population and utilize those projections to better the educational outcome of military children.
