GI Bill® Comparison Tool
The VA has come up with another way to help Veterans obtain and use their Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits. The GI Bill® Comparison Tool allows Veterans to enter their eligibility percentage, military status, and the name of the school that they wish to research. The tool then provides a list of the schools that match. By clicking on the school’s name, the user can then read the data that the tool provides, including the amount of tuition that the GI Bill will cover, the amount of Monthly Allowance for Housing (MAH) the student will receive, and the amount of book stipend. The GI Bill Comparison will let the student know if their potential college, university or vocational school meets the required guidelines to receive federal funding, and whether it is a Yellow Ribbon School.
