ADMISSIONS
We honor the sacrifices you and your family have made during your or your family’s military career, which is why Drexel is proud to be a Yellow Ribbon school. We are proud to offer the opportunity to veterans and their families to support their educational goals.
We understand that the transition from military to college life can be challenging in many ways, but all the offices here are available to assist you in achieving your academic goals. Learn about visiting campus, the application process, and more.
EDUCATION BENEFITS
There are a number of education benefit programs available to you. The Department of Veterans Affairs offers a few commonly used benefits at Drexel, including the Yellow Ribbon program and the Post 9/11 GI Bill®.
Drexel also offers scholarships toward tuition to students who have served in a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Find out how to apply for benefits and financial aid to assist you in accomplishing your educational goals.
STUDENT LIFE
Drexel’s Office of Veteran Student Services ensures that high-quality campus services are easily accessible to student-veterans and military dependents. The office oversees truly military-friendly resources encompassed by the entire campus community.
Veterans have access to the Veterans Lounge, networking opportunities, Yellow Ribbon benefits, and a number of veterans-specific student groups and events. View more offerings from the Office of Veteran Student Services.
DREXEL UNIVERSITY ONLINE DEGREES
DREXEL’S ONLINE DEGREES COME FROM THE SAME RENOWNED SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES ON CAMPUS
Drexel also offers many of its exceptional accredited degrees and certificates online. These online programs are designed for professionals who want to complete or advance their education in a convenient online format without compromising quality. Drexel University’s online degree programs — master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and certificate programs — offer the same accredited curricula as their on-campus equivalents.
Online students are taught by the same nationally-recognized and tenured on campus faculty with PhD degrees and a reputation for excellence both in the classroom and beyond.
There is no difference in the Drexel degree received by “traditional” and online students. Upon successful completion of the program, online students receive the same degree as their peers who take courses on campus. Drexel’s online programs are similarly accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, as well as the highest professional accreditation authority in each field (i.e., AACSB, NLN , ALA ).
