Registration is Open for The National Veterans Wheelchair Games 2021
Co-presented by the VA and Paralyzed Veterans of America, The National Veterans Wheelchair Games is the largest annual wheelchair sporting event for military veterans. The games were launched in 1981 to demonstrate the incredible character displayed by our service members and to honor our veterans. Over the years, they have brought together vets from all modern U.S. conflicts to recognize their courage and celebrate their camaraderie.
When are the Veterans Wheelchair Games 2021?
This year’s National Veterans Wheelchair Games will be held from August 8th to August 13th in New York City.
Who is Eligible for the Veterans Wheelchair Games?
Any veteran qualified to receive VA care and who also suffers from spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, amputation(s), or other permanent, measurable neurological condition may enter.
What’s New For 2021?
- Disc Golf – new event.
- Adaptive E-Sports – new online gaming competition.
- Sniper Competition – new event recommended for competitors with an average score of 500 or higher. Cannot participate in both the sniper competition and regular air rifle competition.
- Super Q – new event for the top Quad Class finishers.
