One of’s main areas of focus is working with employers who want to hire veterans. We have been designated as a Top 100 Employment web site by the International Association of Employment Web Sites. Veterans are highly viable candidates in all occupational areas. We often educate companies on why veterans make great employees: their discipline, skill set, experience, loyalty, and their strong work ethic, which is second to none. The word has gotten out that besides being the right thing to do, hiring veterans makes sense due to the substantial tax benefits offered by the federal government, starting at $2,400 and going as high as $9,600 per hired veteran.

If you are an employer who wants to learn more about hiring veterans and evaluate the advertising options we offer, please feel free to contact me. If you are a Job Seeker, we invite you to take advantage of the multitude of employment resources, including our Job Tips and our Virtual Job Fair, among others. Also, Register as a Job Seeker and upload your resume so that employers can find you.

When the next tour is back home, it’s on, the Go To Site.

Waiting for the Right Time to Buy?

NOW is a great time to buy a home! Home values have been back on a rising track, and while mortgage rates have started to rise as well, rates are still very good. If you have VA eligibility, you can buy a home with ZERO down payment, and in many cases, at no cost! Offering FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgages nationwide, VetsCanSave clients benefit from an additional mortgage management program called ArcLoan®. Automatic Rate Cut (ARC) allows veterans to take advantage of interest rate cycles by lowering their mortgages for little to no cost when rates fall. This results in increased savings and reduced debt. For more information with no obligation, or to get pre-approved, click here. VetsCanSave passionately serves Veterans and their families.

Adaptive Sport Programs

Adaptive Sport

Keeping our Wounded Warriors in the Game

It’s no secret that physical activity is essential to overall good health, regardless of whether or not you have a disability. Adaptive sports are focused on cultivating a person’s ability, and provide enjoyable, yet therapeutic, activities in a non-treatment setting. Keeping our Wounded Warriors engaged gives them the ability to participate in their own recovery. In 2007, the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Paralympic Division was asked to lead the U.S. Paralympic Integrated Adaptive Sports Program, ensuring that physical activity opportunities were available for disabled veterans and service members throughout the country. The program is funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the USOC, which also provides personnel and program support alongside many partner organizations. These organizations strive to provide Veterans with Paralympic sport programming, as many of our Wounded Warriors want to remain physically active and competitive. For a listing of many of these community sports programs, click here.
