It is my pleasure to wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous 2013. We didn’t fall over the fiscal cliff and the best news is that the tax credits in the VOW To Hire Heroes Act will not expire but will be extended. One of the best ways to honor Veterans is to offer them good jobs. Employers will not only gain excellent employees with a superior work ethic and a can do attitude, but may be eligible for significant tax credits from $2,400 to $9,600 per hire. Please contact us for details on these tax credits. We also encourage employers to use MilitaryConnection.com as a venue to reach viable candidates. When the next tour is back home, it's on MilitaryConnection.com, The Go To Site.

Warm regards,

Debbie Gregory, CEO

RFTW

RUN FOR THE WALL

Run For The Wall (RFTW) was started in 1989 as an effort by a couple of Vietnam Veterans who traveled across the USA on motorcycles making people aware that many Veterans (POW/MIA) from all wars have yet to return home. We treasure the opportunity to give all Veterans a Welcome Home and say Thank you For Your Service. We honor the memory of our KIA. RFTW takes ten days to reach Arlington, VA. Events scheduled for the weekend include a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown, along with the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial. Many riders participate in Rolling Thunder in Washington, D.C. on Sunday. RFTW participants visit VA Medical Centers, Veterans’ Memorials, Veterans’ Outreach Facilities, VFW Posts, American Legion Posts, community centers, and schools along the way. To learn more about RFTW and see photos go to www.rftw.org.
